- I've been trying to establish a PLIP connection between my 1200 and 600.
- AmiTCP is functioning properly. I have used cslip (LOCAL) between the two
- machines for some time. I use plip.device 38.12.
-
- I constructed a PLIP cable, as per the instructions, and installed the
- pnet device and config file, but I cannot get a connection.
-
- Any attempt to contact the other machine (via Ping, FTP, or telnet)
- results in this errorlog message:
-
- m_copy_from_buf: mbuf chain short
- no dispatch function: if=plip1 req=818e918 cmds=3 flags=1
-
- (the message on the other machine reads if=plip0)
-
- I am not a networking expert. Could someone give me a hint? I'm using
- AmiTCP4.0
-
- Please reply by email.
-
- Thanks!
